Well folks, we've finally arrived into the latter stages of the 20th century if nothing else, here on Arran. We've finally linked up to broadband!

    Like, er, wow.

Dave, does that mean that you will have to try and type faster? ;)

[Open can of worms] With the amount of money pumped into the south east of England, you should not only have running water but gold plated pipes!!! [/open can of worms]

With the advent of broadband in Arran I bet the number of hits on "" has shot up ;)

Is there such a site? You clearly have the advantage of me on that one! ;)

Congratulations! Wow, Cornwall actually isn't the last to get something like this! Do you have a KFC on Arran yet??!

Thankfully, no! (nor a KFS! ;))

We do have two Chinese takeaways and a stupendous Indian restaurant, though (the sheep vindaloo is particularly hot and woolly! ;))

It's no big deal you know. All he means by "broadband" is that there's now 2 little men with semaphore flags standing on the hilltop. I think it's called co-axial cabling...;)

No - they are definately flags, not axes.

Co-flagial? Hmmm. Doesn't sound quite right. And axes would be appropriate for the barbaric north...;)

    - aye, the sporran-wearing badgers in Pictish lands are ones to be wary of ... they can grow to the size of heffers ... ;)

Yes, in some parts they've even wiped out the indiginous haggis...

Yes, they ae quite rare, but I've seen some badgers round the south end of the island! Rumour has it that they go for men's private parts, causing an affliction known as 'badgers' nadgers' ;)
