    British Army Brass Band at Twickenham Stadium - In aid of the ABF

    British Army Brass Band (BABB) – Concert in Aid of the Army Benevolent Fund - 6th December 2009
    Twickenham Rugby Stadium

    The last chance of the year to see the British Army Brass Band in concert – and a chance to raise much needed funds for the ABF.

    Featuring the best brass players in the British Army, this will be the first concert of it's type in the new purpose built 'Live Room' at the Twickenham Rugby Stadium. Tickets are £7.50 (£5.00 for concessions) and as the venue is being provided for free, every penny will go to the ABF to help injured servicemen and provide benevolence for bereaved families.

    Concert will include a duet featuring our star euphonium player Andy Porter and BABBs newest recruit Brenden Wheeler (ex Leyland).

    Also featuring new recruits from top brass bands in the shape of Steph Barrett, Anne Armstrong, and Dan Shave.:clap:

    The British Army Brass Band is getting ready to do their bit to help injured heroes.

    4BR has spoken exclusively to Captain Dave Barringer, Director of Music of the British Army Brass Band after they revealed details of their concert to help raise funds in aid of the Army Benevolent Fund.

    Help

    He tells 4BR how the Fund helps injured servicemen and provides benevolence for bereaved families, and is currently working under increasing pressure to meet the demand for its services and help.

    The concert is taking place at an appropriate venue on 6th December – the new South Stand at Twickenham Rugby Ground, where the band will play in a brand new ‘Live Room’ auditorium.

    In an effort to sell the last few tickets anyone quoting 'the mouthpiece' when booking tickets in advance will be given the concessionary rate.

    Heard the band in Pontins and was blown away! absolutely amazing!
