Hi, thread is just as it says on the tin ;-)

Looking for some Garde 2-3 level Brass Quartets for my youngsters. Any suggestions?

Look at Francis Cliffords website. Do a search on the name and you should find it.

Spartan Press Flexible Brass Ensemble music is good, and gives a grade guideline. I can recommend Boogie Band and Blues Band in that series if you're looking at grade 2-3

Each part comes in, say, Bb and Eb, or treble clef and bass clef trom etc., so you can swap parts round to suit the players you've got.

Our Junior Springboard Series could be what your looking for. Its scored for a minimum of a quartet and is also expandable to include extra players if you wish. In addition to the standard quartet line-up there are optional parts for Eb Bass and instruments in C.
Some titles are very easy for Grade 2/3 but others will be just right.

If you fancy something a little more jazzy take a look at our Little Big Band Series as well.
It's scored in exactly the same way. Certainly one or two of these titles would be something different.

You can find all of these on our website : http://www.sjsbandmusic.com where you can listen to the pieces and view the scores to see if they're suitable before buying
