Brass Alive Aid ready to kick off...

The second International Brass Band Week, under the title of Brass Alive Aid, will see almost 60 events will take place over the next ten days, with performances in USA and Australia augmenting those throughout the UK. Much of the proceeds from the performances will go to Brass Band Aid and it is hoped that a significant sum can be raised for this worthy charity.

Prizes are on offer for the band making the most significant contribution to Brass Band Week, the best contribution by a youth band, the best contribution by an overseas band and to the band staging the most original event during the week.
There’s plenty for everyone, with a variety of events to suit most tastes, so please support your local band as it does its bit for Brass Band Week.
