  1. North London Brass is working with The Boys' Brigade London District to relaunch and develop their London Central Brass Band.

For decades, the Boys' Brigade London District Central Brass Band was a flagship project for the organisation, performing at the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Tournament, Lord Mayor's Show, Wembley, The London Marathon, Christmas carolling in Trafalgar Square and many other top venues and events.

The central band stopped meeting in recent years following the passing of their highly respected, long standing conductor Dennis Morley. North London Brass is now working with the BB London District to relaunch and develop this valuable and worthwhile youth music project.

Many current brass players got their first taste of music and banding in The Boys' Brigade and North London Brass believes that it is partly through investment in youth projects like this that the future of brass banding can be ensured.

If you're currently involved in The Boys' Brigade as a Staff member or a parent, please get in touch as we need your support to make this the enduring success that it deserves to be.

If you're an ex-member of the Boys' Brigade or a non-connected brass player who would like to help us bring the joy of brass banding to a new generation of young people - the BB today works through music with Girls' Brigade and affiliated girls' organisations, such as Amicus groups - then please do also contact us asap.

Monthly rehearsals are planned for Thursday evenings in Central London. And North London Brass is offering supplementary weekly rehearsals with our Academy and Senior Bands in Enfield and Southgate on Wednesday and Friday evenings, respectively.
