Hi all, I recently acquired a Medium Bore Boosey and Hawks Sovereign. On the bell the engraving is the same as a "Round Stamp Version." The cornet came in the regular blue case so I am assuming it is a 923. It also had a regular trigger rather than a ring one. The only number I can find on it is 522496 which is located on the underside of the bell tubing half way down approx where the middle valve is. I believe it is a medium bore due to identification and how it plays using this site > http://www.ecalpemos.org/2012/08/my-definitive-guide-to-sovereign-cornet.html

I am interested in confirming my thoughts but most importantly I am wanting to know its age. I have looked through the above website plus read through the Guide to Dating a B&H instrument on horniman.ac.uk with no luck.

Any help that can be offered would be appreciated.
