Nah, The best beers are the local brews found in the real ale pubs around Manchester, there are dozens of pubs all within crawling distance of each other, serving only the finest of ales at very reasonable prices, if you know where to look...
I despise Wetherspoons guest ales... They maybe cheap but they are kept awful... Rarely bearable...
They do say that Boddingtons got better when they cleaned out the Irwell...
The Trackside at Bury station has always got some tasty guest ales on.
Never been there, its a bit out of town, But the Crescent in Salford has great beer, and good food aswell. I used to go in there sometimes when I was at uni...
Ha ha! I never liked Boddingtons anyway, wherever it's brewed. Real Ale is the way forward.
