If you had a choice between Sky HD or a Blu-ray player - what would you choose?

I am considering one or of the other after Christmas, but can't make my mind up!

It really depends on what you want to watch. If it's purely movies then a blu ray player. If you want to sometimes watch a but of sport or BBC HD then sky is the way to go. Sky only broadcast in 1080i whereas most blu ray players will do 1080p which is currently best quality if your tv can handle the signal.

Don't see what all the fuss is about. These youngsters probably haven't heard of the Ska band from the late 70's early 80's. If not that, then is it BBTV DVD's and you're too embarrased to admit it.

If you are talking about the other type of "special" DVD's do you really want to see it in HD anyway :-?
