For my A2 project thing i'm going to look at Blitz.

Does anyone know where I could purchase the score? Or are any kind souls willing to sell me one?

Also does anyone know of any pieces (could be written for any musical ensemble e.g. orchestra, quinet etc) that were written in the period 1700-1850 that are programmatic on the theme of war, battles etc. ?
Any starting points would be helpful :)

    Thanking you in advance,

    Dawn x

How about Beethoven's Eroica Symphony (number 3)?

I have my own personal copy of Blitz score, if you wish to have the loan of it? I am actually travelling over to conduct Riddings Band on Wednesday and I could meet you in Bakewell on my way. Let me know in good time.

It's published by R Smith & Co and will be available from them or Band Suppliies or Just Music or Banks etc

Better still, Beethoven's Battle Symphony or Haydn's Mass in Time of War.
