hi, my 8 yr old daughter has just taken up the cornet at school and is doing very well. the instrument the school has given her leaves much to be desired, as do the spare ones in our bandroom. i have seen a cornet for sale on ebay at a cheap price. it is a blessing cornet. anyone heard of these and are they any good for a beginner?
any input would be a help.

Yes, bought a number of these on eBay over time for our youth band. They tend to go fairly cheap but are very sturdy, free blowing etc. Better than the Elkharts etc you will also see for sale. Should see her through her first grades no problem.

Blessings are well made and free blowing.
Ideal for learning on - I would always be happy to recommend these.
