does anybody know who is going to play Soprano with Black Dyke at the Nationals?
is she still in England? I thought she is back to New Zealand?
I think I am right in saying Alex flew back to New Zealand the Tueday after the 'Open' but she returns in time for rehearsals for the Open.
Here's looking forward to seeing you then Alex!
Dyke bought her a time machine too then ???? ;-)
I didn't think it was Alex doing the Nationals - Had heard it was a pro-trumpeter But am probably wrong.
Isn't depping all the way from NZ twice in so short a period more than most professional music groups would care to pay for?
Just to clear up the confusion. I WILL be playing soprano for Black Dyke at the Nationals. And yes I did travel back to New Zealand after the British Open. The reason for this was my two sweet children (Cecelia age 5 and Aaron age 2) and of course my husband. Six weeks away would have been too much for them. I travel back on Monday and will be doing the contest and gala concert keeping the seat warm for Pete!
Excellent news for Dyke.
See you in the Mews then Alex ?
AK is the best
Has anyone told you that you are a legend. Really enjoyed last weekend. Looking forward to the nationals. Livin the dream. AGAIN!!!

Well done at the open! Thought your playing was first class!

See you soon
Great Sop playing at OPEN AND YES BAND SHOULD HAVE WON
Thanks for the kind comments.
And Danny, I'll be struggling to bring a wallaby back as I'm in New Zealand so you can have a hairy Kiwi instead!
Bringing Simon with you then?!?!?!
Cheeky! See you at the Nationals Tabbs!
I dont want a peice of fruit! - Or a hairy tuba player for that matter! Got one in band already!
After Wallaby's were introduced to New Zealand in the 1880's I thought there would be a few left!
Hope ur ok
