    Hi Folks,

Black Dyke gave yesterday evening in Lucerne (Switzerland) a concert. The concert was fantastic.

Especially the soloists were outstanding (my favourite soloist was John Doyle with "Children of Sanchez" a lovely tone on the flugel and the last note....outstanding...).

Unfortunately Peter Roberts was not on the soprano cornet. I don't know the bloke who played soprano.

Here my question. Does anybody who played soprano with Black Dyke on this trip to Switzerland?

We really enjoyed the concert too.
One of the best audiences i have ever played.
I love the swiss for their fantastic rounds of applause.
    Truly brilliant.

    Thanks for the comments.

    Hi John,

    thank you for your reply.

It seems every time when I hear you playing you are getting better and better.......and very sporty.......

What was the last note you played in your solo? Top D?
Is this arrangement of Children of Sanchez available on CD? (preffered played by you).
