  2. I'm looking forward to it then. Haven't bothered to plat Volume One again. But I do like a Black Dyke recording when its well done.

    Diverging slightly - We used to do this with "Colonel Bogey." All basses at written pitch first time - no trombones. Second time through, both BBs down the octave, Trombones coming in on the pickup to the second time.

    Lends itself to some marches better than others, but can be a really good effect - and must say I do like it when MDs mix things up a little on repeated phrases. Far better than playing the same thing twice regardless.
