There are still some tickets available for this much-anticipated event. Latest information is that the first half programme will include "Queensbury", "Poet & Peasant" and "The kings of Cool" set, and will close with Paul Lovatt-Cooper's "Within blue empires".

Soloists will be featured in the second half, together with Peter Graham's "Cat's Tales" and the "Finale from the Organ Symphony" (Saint-Saens). There will also be an item with a particularly Salvation Army twist.

Proceeds will be shared between The Salvation Army's Hadleigh Employment Training Centre and the Bradbury Home for the Elderly in Southend.

Confirmation now to hand regarding some of the solo items: Richard Marshall is playing "Jenny Wren" (Ronald Davies) and Alex Kerwin "That's Amore" (Warren). In the second half we have Brett Baker with Gavin Higgins' "Tango" (as featured on his latest cd), Sandy Smith with "Evergreen" (arr Catherall) and David Thornton with "Rule Britannia" (Hartmann).

If you're coming along, ensure you make yourself known - always good to meet up with fellow tMPers ;)
