SONGS from the silver screen can be enjoyed at a special concert in Rugby this Sunday. Bilton Silver (Rugby) Band will be performing 'That's Entertainment' at Rugby Theatre on Sunday 17 February 2008 from 7.30pm. The concert is the third that the band has performed at the Henry Street venue and will feature a variety of musical pieces. They will be performing a wide selection of music from stage and screen which people of all ages can enjoy. The programme includes music from Pirates of the Caribbean, Rodrigo's Concierto d'Aranjuez - from Brassed Off – and, of course, That's Entertainment. They will also be featuring the band's brass and vocal soloists. Last year the band performed 'Great Music from Great Movies' at the theatre and the year before that played 'Broadway and Beyond'. Back in 2004 the band took part in Rugby Theatre’s production of Brassed Off, playing the part of Grimley Colliery Band, providing the music on and off stage. Tickets for 'That's Entertainment' are available from Rugby Theatre box office on 01788 541234. For more information on the Bilton Silver band visit www.biltonsilverband.co.uk.
