Big RAF Fly past today

    115 plane fly past today over RAF Fairford at 1431. Well worth a look for those of you that live over that way. On TV too.

    Gutted I can't make it down to the Tattoo this year. It's the first one I've missed for years :(

    It's not for a Tattoo. H.M. The Queen is presenting new Colours to the RAF. ( Must have done the old ones on a hot wash or something.)

    My friend once called the Red Arrows, the "Red Devils"

    Wasn't the Red Devils the Motorbike display team? Or am I being dense on a friday afternoon?

    Red Devils = parachute display
    Motorbike display = White Helmets

    Anyway, I just watched the BBC coverage of some amazing aircraft flying in pretty poor weather (for some of them at least), and couldn't help but think that Raymond Baxter is sadly missed....

    did anyone see the Vulcan flying around yesterday?

    I felt so privelidged to see it in the air again (flying over my village)
