    The executive Committee of the British Federation of Brass Bands gives notice that the Annual General Meeting of BFBB will take place onSaturday 16 April 2005 at 2.00pm in the Board Room, Birmingham Conservatoire, Paradise Place, Birmingham.

    Anyone interested in being elected into office are encouraged by the The British Federation of Brass Bands, to seek nomination from either their own band (if a member of BFBB) or a Brass Band Association.

    The following positions are to be elected at the meeting along with existing Officers and Members seeking re-election:-

    Honorary Officers.
    Robert Morgan – Chairman.
    David Shaw – Treasurer.
    Nominations are invited for the office of General Secretary.

    Executive Committee. (The committee consists of not less than 5 and not more than 13 members).
    Derek Atkinson.
    George Bramfitt.
    Roy Davis.
    David Dobson.
    Frances Calver.
    Ken Hirst.
    Frank Hodges.
    Mike James.
    Colin Morrison.
    Arnold Tattersfield.
    Gary Walczak.
    Shirley Woodward.

    The Registry Appeals Committee. ( This Committee should consist of Representatives from eight different associations).
    Derek Atkinson - North West Counties BBA.
    George Bramfit – DurhamCountyBBA.
    Frances Calver - Cornwall BBA.
    John Harris - West Midlands BBA.
    William Poulton – Gloucestershire BBA.
    Arnold Tattersfield – Huddersfield & District BBA.
    Peggy Tomlinson – Yorkshire & Humberside BBA

    Nominations and are invited for the election of Honorary Officers/ Executive from members or member organisations along with, Motions for the Agenda together with proposer should be made in writing to the BFBB General Secretary Greta Russell, 256 Longfellow Road, Coventry, CV2 5HJ, by 2nd April 2005.
