What is the best workshop you have ever attended, who lead it and why was it so good?

It was an NYBBGB one - Jens Lindeman led it.
Need I say more? It was absolutely fantastic.
His playing is just incredible and energy is like nothing I've never seen before.
Brass player or not, you couldn't fail to be enthralled by a masterclass led by this man.

Not sure about best, but certainly the most memorable workshop I've been at was on NYBBW given by Kevin Nutty, percussionist with the BBCSO. We spent one session talking exclusively about crash cymbals (where we found out some really interesting things like he owns 65 pairs of them), and another taking run-ups at the tam-tam to achieve the best sound. Surprisingly enough we didn't really learn anything about the pieces we were meant to be performing...
