I'm looking to sell my tenor horn, as its sat unused in the loft.

Its in really good condition - silver plate all intact, one VERY small minor dent in the bell. Its as good as new :D

I'm looking for £1000 for it, I have photos - PM me if interested.

    (Roughly) when was it made?

Just that Besson Sovereign horns have been made for quite a while now!

Not that I could afford it as a poor poor student, even at a fair price - otherwise I'd be very interested!

A good question!! I believe it's about 5 years old, not sure how i'd check though?

What is the serial number of this horn?

    Serial Number

I'm not sure, I'll take a look when I get home - will this tell me how old it is?

Is there a website listing the serial numbers?

I think there's a part of the besson website somewhere where you can input their serial numbers and find out when the instrument was made.

Nah - that got pulled off when Besson went under. Buffet & Crampton haven't put it back on
