    Hi everyone
As a result of BBC Radio 2's Good Morning Sunday show new schedule time (7 -9am) and presenter Clare Balding replacing Aled Jones the "Brassed Off" feature was dropped in January. :(

The baton THANKFULLY was handed to BBC Radio 2's The Sunday Hour presented by Diane Louise Jordan. (SEE PHOTO)
The "Brassed Off" slot usually goes out around 06:20 - 06:30 and can be listened back on the BBC iPlayer for 7 days.

Personally I really enjoy the music played as it makes Sunday feel special to every other day of the week.
The Brassed Band play has that very British and homely feel to it and fits very well on a Religious programme. ;)
Other Radio 2 shows by comparison begin to sound the same with their referencing to the playlist.

Diane says that sometimes the listener picks the track to be played.
Lets make it more often and Brass Bands and fans need to show their support by sending in their music, giving positive feedback and making requests!
It is becoming extremely difficult for Inde artists to get National airplay so the "Brassed Off" feature is to be treasured!

    You can:
    A) Write to The Sunday Hour, BBC Dock House, MediaCityUK, Salford, M50 2LH
    B) Email the show:

    C) Why not leave a message on the BBC Radio 2 Facebook page when they post about the show as it broadcasts
    D) You could tweet / follow Diane on TWITTER
    E) You could spread the word on Social Media?
