    Hi,
My tuba has picked up a few too many dings in the bottom bow from gig bag use. Being lacquered (which is pretty good still) i'd rather not attempt the traditional method of removing/replacing the bottom bow.
Does anyone know or used a repairer who uses the dent balls, balloons or magnets like in the USA?
    Details would be appreicated.
    Thanks, Jenny

I'm pretty sure Trevada use the ball bearings and magnets if i remember correctly! Not 100% sure thought!

For curiosity's sake, how much does this type of repair usually cost?

The best person to talk to would be Mr Tuba, his repairs are great. Try his website for contact details:tup
