I'm in a mouthpiece trial phase at the moment on bass trombone... Looking for something of Vincent Bach 1 1/4 G size that offers a little more control... I'm interested in trying out any of the following:

    Laskey 85MD
    Marcinkeiwicz 1
    Schilke 58
    Schilke 59
    Wick 0AL
    Wick Heritage 0AL
    Wick Heritage 00AL
    VB 1 1/4 GM
    CKB 1 1/4 H
    Greg Black 1.5G, 1.25G
    Griego 1.5, 1.25, 1
    Ferguson L
    Josef Klier P2
    Yamaha 59, 60
    etc... etc...

but don't have oodles of spare cash to throw around. If anyone is looking to sell any examples of these 2nd hand, let me know.

    Hi Steve,

The Yeo custom is a few sizes bigger than what I'm looking for, I'm afraid.

    p.s. Rath 1 1/4, 1 1/4W sound interesting too...

The Wick 0AL is a bit of a beast. I can't think of many larger than that particular one...

There's prob another 20+ or so bass bone mouthpieces of a much larger size than a Wick OAL!

Think the Wick is comparable in size to something around a Bach 1 1/4 - by no means a beast in comparison to what's available.

Its not on your list but i have a Griego .25 im not using, its a bit too small for me.

If you want to have a try on it PM me.
