We're all beginners at some stage - no matter what our current standard... so if anyone out there wants anything prepared such as printed music scales, or perhaps a list of valve combinations, slide positions et al... PLEASE ASK! There's always someone here who will have the ability, patience and knowledge, and will be happy to prepare some material for you. Myself included.

I'm happy to 'host' this material on server if anyone comes up with any valuable material. Maybe even introduce a 'Download Section' if we eventually get enough 'user produced' material

Ask away, suggest away, or offer away !!!!

A download section would be great!

I have one tip for people... when you're doing your home practice, don't just do it in one room. Play in the bathroom or another room with tiles or something, and if you have a loft or similar, practice in there too. Even practice in a padded cupboard if you can... hang some duvets over the walls.

You'll notice different qualities of your sound in each room you practice as the acoustics change.

Keep behaving like that and you'll end up in a padded room permanently!

Have you ever tried playing a Euphonium in a stright jacket?

They're coming to take him away - ha ha!
