    Hi there,

We are a young couple (19 and 20), looking to find a band in the Scarborough area of North Yorkshire, with either vacancies on Tenor Horn and Baritone, or the space to allow us to practice in their established ensemble.

We have our own preferred instruments, so if we are needed to play another instrument, we would need to borrow, if there is the option. We are both dedicated musicians on a music degree, and practice together daily.

We would prefer to travel as little as possible, as trains can be expensive, so a rough 20/30 mile radius of Scarborough would be best for us, as we don't have the funds to run a car through university.

Katie: Grade 8 Tenor horn player, willing to move to Cornet, Flugel, Baritone or Euphonium if needed. Have played most brass instruments in 4[SUP]th[/SUP] to 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] section bands, and have 6 years depping, marching, contesting and concert experience as tutti and solo/soli.

Bryn: Dedicated beginner of a few months, at roughly Grade 3 - 4 standard on Baritone, after 9 years of guitar, and willing to try Euphonium, if there is a desperate need. Only band experience is in the training band regime of a 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] section contesting band, but progressed to 1[SUP]st[/SUP] baritone after the first concert. Eager to progress and join a band, and pushes himself in individual practice.

Any replies would be wonderful, and if we can fill any gaps, we would be more than happy. Hope to hear from you soon!
