    Oxymoron -

A rhetorical figure in which incongruous or contradictory terms are combined, as in a deafening silence and a mournful optimist. cruel kindness.

Wondering how many there are, My contrbution -

    Subtle Drummer
    Modest Principal Cornet
    Unison Horns - (My favourite)

If anyone takes offense at this then you are thicker than a whale ommlete.

One that always amuses me is when you see adverts for a "tuned percussionist". Is that, like, as opposed to "untuned" :?: Is an "untuned" percussionist one who can only hit drums?
It's a mystery to me (but then so is all percussion!)

egoless trombone would be more apt!

Have you ever met a trombonist who doesn't think that they are the greatest instrument in the world because they have the 'wonderful' distinction of having a slide rather than valves.

There's more testostorone at a British Trombone Society event than in any football crowd or lap dancing club!

P.s nothing personal intended, my bro is a trombonist and I always rib him over this!
