The Marlow Band in South Bucks is aiming to be at the forefront of the way banding is shaping itself for the future. The band very much adopts an 'Open Door' policy to all brass players in the area.

In particular we would welcome solo cornet players but as our policy suggests all players are welcome at any time.

The band does not contest but has excting projects lined up for 2004 with the emphasis on quality engagements as opposed to quantity of engagements. The band has some major concerts lined up together with the potential for two tours ( one overseas ) A regular supply of new music is available to our MD so things are always kept fresh.

So if your tired of the same old small engagements year in year out or unable to commit totally to your particular band's hectic schedule then contact us, either:-

    Musical Director: Ian Young
    Chairman: Ken Hall

The band rehearses Monday evenings 8-10pm in its own hall in Marlow

You could soon be part of a new way of banding
