Perhaps it should be 'banned' rather than 'band'....

Anagrams of brass bands, some famous, some less so, some from the UK, some from abroad..... .Once you've worked them out, the initial letters of the first name of each band will, when shuffled, produce the name of another.

Unless its name is widely recognised with the word 'brass' or 'band' (and there is one in here), I've left those words out of the names that have been given the anagram treatment! (i.e. Fulham Brass Band would be just Fulham, but that ain't in here!)

    Really provides sheath [12, 8]
    Not so skilled [3, 9]
    A sermon [7]
    Lesbian rascal [8, 5]
    Oh! Rat rage! [9]
    Talentless linear iron [7, 13]
    Breaks virgin joke [8, 8]
    Won? Let's re-enter! [6, 8]
    Balky deck [5, 4]
    Grave ants [9]
    Very eared [4, 5]
    Bad uniforms easier [8, 9]
    Croak disturbs hearing [9, 3, 8]

Thank you PB for pointing out my error! ;-)

The fourth last anagram should read 'Grave ants' not 'grave rants' (now corrected in original thread)

Won? Let's re-enter! = Nestle Rowntree (thank you IBEW  )

At least this one made up for the really-annoyingly-hard username anagrams Dave!

Actually Dave, you've left one 'band' in there - Seindorf Beaumaris - translates from Welsh to English as Beaumaris Band! ;)

Why not set a deadline like with the football quiz, which would give everyone a chance :?:

Could do, Peter. In which case, best thing to do is do the same as the football quiz and have the answers pm'ed to me instead.
