Did any one catch this fantastic bit of radio programming.

A radio ballad specially commisioned to mark the 25th anniversary of the Miners strike.
A mix of new music with first hand accounts from the miners, wives and policemen.

The Judas Bus 21 minutes in is pure genius by Jez Lowe.

I know this had a huge effect on many bands so I thought it might be interesting to forum members. It would be interesting to hear peoples first hand accounts.

I certainly remember it very well coming from the flying picket/police battle ground in Nottinghamshire.

I caught a bit of it Tuesday night. Very good with some very black humour. I thought the bit about the Grimethorpe miners releasing a greyhound amongst the field where the police dogs were staying was very amusing. I remember the time well as I was living in Sheffield at the time. If you have time please listen.
