Just recently playing again after a few years off , ex SA ( Euph / Trom at Colchester Citadel ) , now doing awful things to a Baritone with Becontree but enjoying every minute of playing again .
Recognise a few names from the site here ( Shommusic , I know who you are , and the Horn is a girly instrument !!).
Good to be back in the band world - has much changed in my absence ? Have'nt heard / seen much of Harry Mortimer lately !! ?? 8) :guiness

Is is possible to do anything else with a baritone?

Have they bought that new instrument for you yet?

Tom is on the case - have tracked down a decent 2nd hand old-style Sov - apparently they did'nt want to splash 3K + on a new Prestige !!! Can't say I blame them !

As for other uses for a Baritone , I can think of a few !!!

    Welcome back to Banding!!!:D :D

I had a 5 year break ending in February this year. With some judicious practice (not overdoing it) its all starting to come back physically, the weird thing is that the mental side seems as fresh as when I stopped

Obviously when you've been banding for any length of time it leaves permanent mental scars
