    Baritone mouthpieces

I play a Wick, to be exact it's a baritone mouthpiece, an SM6, think they're designed by Steven Mead? Best mouthpiece I have ever used, good for upper register and helps give me a very full and rich tone. Depends what your individual needs are, what suits me, may not suit you. I can easily sustain using this mouthpiece but have spoken to others who say it's just too big for them to be able to do the same.

Ask your teacher, he/she should be able to advise, or your MD at band?

I play Baritone and moved onto a Vincent Bach 6.1/5 AL many years ago - i would not use anything else... The range and sound are terrific and i find it easy to create a horn, euph, trom or Baritone sound as appropriate....

Give one a try - it is what i would recommend. I used to use a 6BS (Forerunner to the SM6)
