Later this year i am going auditioning to try and get in the Junior Royal northern college of music. I play horn at the mo and would also be playing flugel or bari as second instrument, havnt decided yet!
But am stuck on what pieces to play, does anyone know of any audition pieces which are at grade 6 or 7 standard? I have to play two pieces and I am going towards Demelza for the horn piece but not sure yet?

Plus does anyone have any experience with the junior part of the college, if so what is it like? Obviously before i go I'm going to have a look around but would like to know of other peoples experiences there.

    Thanks Em:D

I've played Mozart's 4th Horn Concerto for an Audition for NYBBGB and then Weber's Concertino for Horn. Either would be Grade 6+
