    hi all

been wanting to play the studies at the back of the arban for a bit, but not sure where to start.

No. 1 is the obvious place, but is it easier / more beneficial to start with one of the others ?

    thanks for your help.

I think number 6 is probably the easiest of them... :)

I've still yet to play the first couple of pages perfectly!

I would suggest that it depends what you are working on.

Some of the grand studies are easier than others, but which is the easiest for you will be a personal choice.

No. 5 and 6 I would suggest-they're the ones I played for my grade 6 and 7 so they must be some of the easier ones I would imagine.
When you can play no. 2, please tell me.....I gave up when I was told to do it for my grade 8 and played 'Mr Logic' instead!!

My dim memory (alright, I looked in my old Arban for dates) says 6,9,2,13,7 in that order.

IMO 9 is the easiest, but it's all relative!

2 is a swine and so is the last 4 bars before the last change of key in 6, took me ages to get right.
