We are thinking of having a room soundproofed for home practice and teaching . Does anyone know any good contacts in the Cheshire area or have had any similar work carried out.

I got these guys to install sound proofing when we bought our house earlier on in the year.

It's a 100 or so year old terraced house that has quite a thin party wall. We had the panels fitted in the lounge/diningroom, it has the same effect as if the wall was a cavity wall as in modern houses.

The specailist fitters installed the panels in less than a day.. it is recommended that the panels are skim plastered after installation.
