Nope... neither do I!! But I have seen this effect a few times on other forums and earlier this evening read about this again and thought I'd have a go myself. Here's my very #1st laughable attempt...

... anyone else care to have a go?

    An interesting take Tom... :tup

Here's one I did earlier this evening after stumbling across the original image of our KCC's:

Very stylish, John. Which tool did you use to draw round the target?

    Hi Tom

I use two Layer Masks, one on the white border, and one on the background, then simply use the brush tool to paint or remove the image.

I tried using the layers & magnetic lasso described in the link above.

More importantly John, how come your KCCs get so wet when they're out. Mine won't even go on the grass to have a wee when its wet!!

What programme do you use for your picture editing etc. I'm looking to get something new & exciting!!!!

Hi Kaz - I use Photoshop CS3 for my image editing, and Lightroom2 for my photography processing.

CS4 has just been released, and though is quite expensive, I might upgrade. Have a look at this link, select the Content Aware Scaling video down the page, and be amazed... :)

The KCC's shot is a stunner, it is not only the effect, but the subject is asking for that treatment. Well done John, absolutely brilliant. I bet that would fetch a reasonably good price if submitted to one of the specialised magazines.
