I feel all sad and left out because I'm not going to the whits :(

Why did my cousin have to her wedding this saturday?? I mean I wouldn't have minded but I'm not even being a bridesmaid! I'm being chief babysitter instead :(

this also means (worst of all) i'm not going to have tMP for 3 whole days!!!!!

so people cheer me up by telling me what your gonna be doing instead of going to the whits this weekend!

I'm not going either!!! Any other year, and I would have been at school, but this year, I leave on the 19th, the day before! So I will be doing absolutely nothing this weekend except going to my euph lesson. And revising for the other 16 of 18 exams I have. Not a nice alternative.

Nope - I'm fascinated by it, but my other obsession (Ask Mike Lyons for details;)) means I can't get there...

No, it's sick and violent... there's this specialist clothing, some leather involved, and an old guy that just stands and watches and occassionally points... totally perverted if you ask me...

Yeah, and at the weekend, my obsession left a grown man in tears, as I whipped his ball a distance of some 100 yards.

He was begging for mercy, but I pummelled him anyway.

Off to Norwich with Hadleigh Songsters this weekend, trying to cheer everyone up after Sunday

Might hear some of the cup final while we're on the coach, & may catch the results of Eurovision if our hosts decide to put it on, but no Whits :(

I'll be at home looking after my gorgeous 7 week old daughter.

I wish I could be going but it just ain't possible this year.

Maybe next year I'll be able to go if I can persuade Bassboneshep stay at home!

No it involves a dungeon, and dressing up as Captain Keith Brown, the infamous non starter of the 1993 Grand National

I will not be going to the whits this weekend as I can't stand Marching.

    An anecdote for every occasion:

After one marching job, the band sat down to do another couple of sets. A young lady in the horn section had commented on my apparent lack of range, when spitting a Top C in Manhattan Skyline. I casually replied, " I may have missed the top C but you haven't just F****** marched 3 miles without once resorting to a salbutamol inhaler. F*** off " At which point tears were evident

This and others will soon be available in paperback from all good bookshops, and some rubbish ones too.

Oh yeah I'm going to a stag do on Saturday night, and will be arriving home via the beer scooter some time on Sunday

I see your tee shots have improved, but obviously your eyesight is fading, if you hit another mans ball.

Bit of a way to go for us soft southern types , although would be good to go one day.
Got a weekend of serious drinking to fit in anyway , and probably practicing after falling off several high notes at rehearsal last night!!

I will probably end up going to a rubbish band job on Saturday morning, maybe shopping in the afternoon. on Sunday I've got a church service to do with Youth Orchestra then i will be doing some Physics revision and going to band rehearsal. Not much fun. We don't do marching. It's like a taboo in our band.
