    What is the kindest thing someone has done for you today?
    (Or if you pefer - what is the best thing you have done for someone else today?):)

    Somebody gave me a lift home after band today (although it's only a two minute walk ;) )

    The surgeon telling me I didn't need a sling anymore, and that the 'light exercise' of playing a tuba would actually be good for my left shoulder. Not sure he appreciates the weight of a bflat bass and the fact the weight is on your left rather than your right but still.

    My three year old offered me some of her fairy cake. The fact that it was already in her mouth and fairly well chewed is just a minor gripe.

    Took the kids out for a post exam (well, one has completely finished GCSEs and the other, almost finished, just two A levels left to do) lunch. Chinese "all you can eat" buffet. :)

    The phone calls from various friends checking that I'm ok while the boyfriend is in hospital, and coping with broken loo, broken washing machine and broken hair straighteners!!

    So far today, as I am on holiday, no contact with other members of the human species, so my only good deed for another today, was feed my cat this morning. He in turn seemed appreciative about that. Ah the joy of being single and on holiday, feet up and browse the forums.

    Mind you - I bought her tea last week....
    but we only meet once a week for coffee.....

    I was nice to people at work today :) ermm my boyfriend sent me some nice texts to cheer me up in my bored state!! thats about it though...although i have had a very boring day!

  19. Yesterday I made dinner for myself and my mum (I can't actually cook! but, I managed) - mac cheese and tomato bake! And I made the cheese sauce from scratch woop woop! :clap:
