    You do realise that Buddy Rich was actually playing both parts in the sketch...and that animal doesn't actually play the drums :p

    There are so many good drummers being featured on YouTube ... Dennis Chambers, Dave Weckl, Billy Cobham etc. and this is a good clip of Frank Zappa's former kitman Terry Bozzio being inventive ...

    Nope, thats definately Animal playing those parts, you can tell!! ;-)

    Someone else is playing too - but hidden. If you watch carefully, you will hear drums and see he is not playing all the time.

    Maybe it was Ronnie Varrell? I believe that he used to "help out" Animal regularly, or was it Jack Parnell?

    My hero. The man was/is an absolute legend.

    Have you ever seen a faster single stroke roll? :eek:

    Also, in the above clip, anyone notice he changes sticks?
    No - I didn't either. Look again - just after 6 minutes - first the right then the left.

    Amazing drummer - THE best.
