    Danger of this thread turning into men vs women, although I think Robert asked for it! The original subject is really interesting to me, especially if you turn the question round. It's so unusual for someone to be completely indifferent to music, yet what is it about music that makes it so attractive to the human psyche? It's hardly a basic human need like food or shelter yet it has such a powerful effect on our minds.
