    Well Done Abergavenny!!

    Bit of a result.

The only way was up after Wychaven last week.

Did anyone have a positive comment in their adjudication??

The few i read if i hadn't known the result would have thought they were all unplaced.

Iv'e no problem with constructive criticism, but im sure everyone involved worked and tried really hard.

A little harsh Mr Buckley in places. there were even tears!!

We were very pleased with the result, from last place last week @Wychavon to winners this week, amazing what a difference a week can do.

I was well impressed by Parc & Dare they played extreemly well.

I listened to most of the 1st Section and it was good to see many of them take on Championship section type pieces.
Having joined the band when it was in the 1st section playing 1st section pieces its only from pulling out harder test pieces and challenging the band that we realised that we gained the confidence to be able to play these pieces.

I found our adjudicator comments by Gareth Pritchard very helpful, it allows us to look at the strengths and weaknesses of the performance, and gives hints on how to improve it yet again. (they can be seen on our website)

Congrats to all the other winners.
