    I came across a leaflet for this and thought I'd post the details:


    Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, with Wynton Marsalis
    London Adventist Chorale
    London Philharmonic Orchestra
    Conductor: Kurt Masur


    Friday 30 September: Symphony Hall, Birmingham

    Sunday 2 October: Royal Albert Hall, London

    Wednesday 5 October: Royal Concert Hall, Glasgow

    I have this CD, and it's a very interesting piece of music. Well worth seeing/listening to. I found it a mix between spiritual/soul/jazz all bundled up together. Also clocks in at about 90 mins, so be prepared for that.

    Must have another listen... been a while since I had it on...

    If you never see another concert again, you have to see Wynton Marsalis, he is a genius. His Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra are also excellent. Some say Marsalis is the modern day Miles Davis, but others say that is a compliment to Miles Davis...

    Well I'm gonna be there!!! I really like his extended works like All rise and Blood on the Fields. I've Seen LCJO Twice now, they're just amazing!!

    Edit: Just realised that the London concert is the same day as the Folkestone Contest :ranting2:

    Got tickets for the Birmingham gig........present from the gf.....promises to be an excellent night. We'll be in Circle left box on level 4, so say hi if you're going.
