Just a note to let everyone know, Alan Goddard former 3rd Cornet player and Secretary of Stocksbridge Band, died just before christmas. The funeral will take place on Friday 14th January 2005, 2.40pm at Grenoside Crematorium, Sheffield. Wanting to give Alan a fond farewell, a few former colleagues intend playing at the service.
