Alan Bottomley Memorial March Contest 17th June

  1. Hebden Bridge March Contest is held on the 17th june this year.
    Adjudicator is david horsfield. with lots of prizes for all sections inc youth section.

    Please get in touch if you would like to enter this years best march contest (shop's, Pub's, Chip shops, restaurants, all open!!!). great venue for a social for your band.

    The night before Hebden Bridge Band will be holding there popular Heritage Concert at the Hebden Bridge Picture House with guest soloist this year Lesley Howie Tenor horn soloist.
    tickets are available on the door.

    The contest was brought to a close by the Drighlington Band playing a moving rendition of Crimond in tribute to Alan Bottomley, the man with the original vision for a march contest in the town, who was lost to us all recently. Alan would have been very proud again today that his dream has become a reality.
