I have recently returned from Kampala, Uganda, where I met a wonderful group of lads who have formed a brass band. Most of them used to live on the streets and they all live in very poor communities. They have taught themselves to play from scratch and without any music. They play at functions and they use the money that they raise from that to fund each other through school and buy food for each other.

However, they also have to use a fair proportion of the money to hire instruments for the functions. If anyone out there has any old instruments that they do not use and would like to see do some good in the world then I would love to arrange to collect them and get them transported to the lads.

I live in Birmingham, but can and will travel if need be

    Thanks

    Chris
