:dunno Soundhouse Brass are looking to record our first CD in the near future. I have made some contacts with a few local recording specialists, however few have experience of recording a brass band. If you have had experience with a recording specialist, who has produced a good quality CD at not too heafty a price I would be interested in hearing from you. We are based in Plymouth and have a suitable venue for a recording to take place.

Thanks in advance to those that respond.

    Hi Alex,
Walking on Eyre... Based in St Agnes, Cornwall... they did the Saltash Town Band CD when I was playing there... Don't know any contact address' or anything, but I'm sure someone in the band can point you in the right direction...

    Hope this helps...

PM Sound are the major Brass recording company in the South West, and are probably your best bet. Their website is if you want more info.

Have you thought about asking B&H Sound for a quote?
Although they are based in Peterborough, I know that they did a band recording in Bristol in the summer.

or 01733 223535 and speak to Nicki Seager
