John added Google ads to tMP some time ago (the program is called "AdSense", thus the title of this thread). The ads are supposed to be targeted based on the content of the page, but sometimes Google misses just a bit.

So . . . post the titles from any strange or out-of-place Google ads you see on tMP here (and make sure that you click the link on the ad to give John a little help :) )

Saw this one a few minutes ago on the word association thread:

Elvis Impersonators DVD

It's also quite funny to see ads for saxophones and clarinets on a brass forum... :)

I thought maybe that it was picking up his username to key on, but he didn't have any posts on that particular page - although I'm not sure how the Google algorithm works on dynamic pages like these - it may look at all the posts in the thread.

Maybe it "associated" "association" with "impersonation" ;)

Could be. Here's another that popped up on the same thread:

It came up with some interesting ads in the 'How do you get your missus to go into labour' thread...

From the "Whatever happened to . . ." thread

Arran Aromatics Shop
Herbal bath and body direct from Scotland at eBubbles

Could this be what attracted Mr. Payn? ;)
