I have a 966 Sovereign Euphonium for sale, £1500. Made in the old Besson factory in London in 1987, it was the immediate successor to the round stamp euphoniums. This model was the one used by Morgan Griffiths during his illustrious banding career. I believe these were only made for a short time between 1985-1987 and are a medium bore similar to the 1970's Imperials but with the modern large shank mouthpiece receiver. Specs are: Key: Bb/F with four compensating piston valves, Bell: 11 inches - Finish: Bright silver plate with bright silver slides/inner bell. It is in very good condition with a sturdy yet light 'Virtuosi' case. It has had plastic valve guides fitted which makes it silent and smooth running. It comes with a range of accessories, including SM4 and 4AL mouthpieces, metronome, silver polishing cloth, valve oil, spare plastic guides and springs and corks.
