Is there any sites that specialise in used mouthpieces? New ones are not that realistically priced for the kids I teach, are there any better options to explore?

Outwith eBay, ask local bands to check what they have in their cupboards. If players tend to use their own mouthpieces, then there is a good chance that the spares would be kept when instuments are replaced.

    Hi Tony,
Get in touch, I may be able to help.
You need to clear out your PM box :)

Have actually found that ebay is quite reasonable for buying and selling 2nd hand mouthpieces. They are usually around the £10 mark including postage.

Agreed you can get some bargains and when you find that you actually prefer the one you've been playing on for 30 years - it's easy to sell them on again !!!

My repairer sells some recon ones. Maybe other repairers do the same.
