    3rd Section is A Cambrian Suite by Michael Ball. Currently £55 on Just Music. Shall we be cynical and see if the price mysteriously goes up later today??!!

    Just heard Cambridge Variations lovely piece and heard Essay a while ago both im sure will make a good days listening for the area contests.
    I will for sure be going to Perth to hear Scottish Area

    I think its a poor show that there's no McCabe or RSA in the list.

    (disclaimer - I have absolutely nothing against any of the pieces or composers that have been selected!)

    Perhaps it was selected because it was alphabetically next to Cambridge Variations in a list somewhere...

    It was 4th section National finals piece in 2002. I like the piece but I thought it was a little soon to get it out again!
