Anyone heard any?
I haven't heard anything but I hope we get 'Journey of the Lone Wolf' by Simon Dobson either in the British Open or the Nationals....
I have almost decided.
Most likely it's gonna be spiriti..but my mind can be swayed.
And theres me thinking there were 4 othef sections (5 counting the youth) what is it about these so called elite players on this site that are just concerned about the top section and all others are just a nuisance.
There are 4 other section yes.
But I want to know what I might be playing, if I was
Playing in another section I would want to know
What piece that section was instead.
What's the problem....????
No problem at all, well, as long as you can play your part eh ?
Didn't do too bad on Sunday.
Anyone want to take a bet on Cloudcatcher Fells?
That'd be a nice touch... It'll be a real shame if McCabes only legacy to the banding world is Cloudcatcher though (as fantastic a piece as it is). Images is a far better piece than it's ever really been regarded as, same goes for Maunsell Forts.
Sorry, did you call me an elite player....
Obviously never heard me.....ha ha ha
I said "so called elite players"
And Salamander - great piece hardly ever played nowadays.
While we're thinking of pieces by composers who recently died, how about Odin?
Salamander or Seascapes for 1st section final?
Bit of Goff Richards in Section 4???
My main interest is the 1st Section Nationals piece, however I am also interested in knowing what people will be playing while I get drunk in the Imperial College Union/Queen's Arms...
When is it all announced?
Last year the Nationals were announced on April 9th, but someone on here 'predicted' them beforehand...
The Championship section piece will require bottle, that's for sure.
