    Fragile Oasis. ...by Peter Meecham

Have had a good listen to it and its a fantastic bit of writing.

I had heard it was going to be a new piece by Gavin Higgins. I guess we'll know on 9th April

Haha, surely can't get any harder than Magnus!

I really think that for the lower sections they should pick a piece from the section above.....half the bands qualified have been promoted anyway, so would make a good introduction to the section they will be in next year!

it should also be a 'test' as well so why not?? I'll take Paganini for the 1st please!!

Now I wonder what it could be?

I will ask my friend guinivere, she might know...

If so, what a massive disappointment for Leyland that they didn't make it to the RAH, since the piece was commissioned by Burgermusik Luzern and a certain Michael Bach.

Is there a clue in your post Mr Smith ? Are we going to see Kenilworth or John O' Gaunt somewhere, 2nd or 3rd section.

"Once and Future King" seems the obvious one from a hint like that.. almost too obvious...

I would say that if, as in the earlier posts, it is to be a piece by Peter Meechan then from the clues it would be "The Legend of King Arthur"
